In 1949, with the acquisition of two Canadian chain hotels, Sheraton expanded and developed rapidly all over the world. In 1958, the company launched the automatic electronic reservation system "reservatron". In 1961, the Sheraton Hotel in the Middle East appeared in the Sheraton Hotel in Tel Aviv, Israel.
