2004年起，扬州漆器厂在邗江工业园征地42亩，用于生产厂房建设，经过近4年的建设，2009年底，包括漆器家具项目在内扬州漆器厂新厂区建设如期完成，对于扬州漆器厂调整生产布局，扩大生产规模，实现产业化经营，打造全新项目的漆器工业园将起到重要的推动作用。
