2004年起，扬州漆器厂在邗江工业园征地42亩，用于生产厂房建设，经过近4年的建设，2009年底，包括漆器家具项目在内扬州漆器厂新厂区建设如期完成，对于扬州漆器厂调整生产布局，扩大生产规模，实现产业化经营，打造全新项目的漆器工业园将起到重要的推动作用。

The products mainly include craft furniture, interior decoration, tourist souvenirs, gifts, all kinds of treasures, boutiques and high-end collectibles, with more than 3000 fancy varieties. In 2004, Yangzhou lacquer ware was officially approved by AQSIQ to implement the protection of geographical indication products. Yangzhou lacquer ware was listed in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage protection list issued by the State Council in 2005. In 2006, Yangzhou lacquer ware factory was awarded the first batch of Chinese time-honored enterprises by the Ministry of Commerce. Yangzhou lacquer factory's "lacquer flower" brand lacquerware has won 7 special awards of China Arts and Crafts Master works and fine arts and crafts exposition for six consecutive years since 2004, ranking the top in the national arts and crafts industry. Since 2002, "lacquer flower" trademark has been appraised as a famous trademark in Jiangsu Province, and awarded the title of famous brand product in 2004.
