湖南广绘轴承制造有限公司是湖南资产管理公司于2004年底整体收购原湘潭轴承厂后更名成立的。原湘潭轴承厂成立于1969年7月18日，当时是原机械工业部生产精密基础件的企业，是我国电力机车主电机轴承的生产和设计厂家，公司于2006年9月搬入湘潭九华工业园新址。公司占地面积55000平方米，厂房面积12000平方米，设立专业生产铁路轴承的车间和队伍。拥有各专业类高级工程师6人，工程师15人，助理工程师12人，高级技工36人，平均年龄35岁，是一支专业齐全、业务熟练、技术精湛、年富力强、勤奋夯实、和谐友善、发展创新的制造团队。

公司在发展历程中，励精图治、奋勇拼搏、严于管理、大胆创新，通过了ISO9001：2000质量管理体系认证，2006年12月通过审核，生产过程控制严格，按照管理体系和国家（铁路）规范要求进行，对产品设计、技术开发、生产加工、产品销售及售后服务实施全过程质量控制和科学管理。产品全部采用加强型（E）结构，具有承载负荷大、寿命长、噪音低、性能强的特点。
