北京市三八服务中心是北京市妇联的事业单位。成立于1983年,是较早的家庭服务机构。
“中心”以为人民服务为宗旨,以为农民工转移安置为己任。多年来,先后将20多万贫困地区的农村妇女输送进京,并吸纳了大量本市失业失地人员,为首都60多万户家庭提供了服务。

2010年中心提出了打造“北京三八家政服务品牌、推动首都家庭服务业规范发展”三步走发展规划。对妇联系统内的家政机构进行整合,推行六个统一,即“品牌标识、招收标准、培训内容、服务流程、评价机制、信息平台”的六统一;立足社区、面向居民家庭在六城区逐步建立妇联“三八家政”连锁机构,依托“妇女之家”和“社区服务站”设立“三八家政服务站点”。同时,在远郊区县建立“巾帼家政服务示范基地”。以“北京市家庭建设促进会”为平台,配合相关部门并联合一批规范的家政企业,将家政事业做大做强。
