上海新黄浦置业股份有限公司创立于1992年12月2日，1993年3月26日在上海证券交易所挂牌上市（股票代码600638），2008年1月股票列入沪深300指数样本股，是上海市内较早组建上市的房地产企业之一。

自创立以来，在上海市内开发建设了一大批商务楼宇和住宅小区，累计房地产开发面积逾200万平方米。在做优做强房地产主业的同时，公司还在房地产相关的经营服务领域、旧城改造、金融投资及期货、创意园区建设与管理、高科技园区经营、专业电子市场经营、物业管理、房产服务与咨询、服务贸易等方面进行多元探索和拓展，成绩斐然。
