哈尔滨东安汽车发动机制造有限公司(以下简称公司)，是由中国、日本和马来西亚“三国五方”共同投资组建的中外合资企业（中方出资70％，外方出资30％）。公司成立于1998年9月4日，资产总额48亿元人民币，占地面积27.3万平方米，建筑面积11.7万平方米，现有员工1400余人。

公司主要从事从日本三菱汽车引进的4G1和4G9两大系列排量为1.3－2.0升汽油发动机和自动变速器（4AT/5AT）及手动变速器（MT）产品的研制、开发、生产、销售，是国内独立于整车厂之外的专业发动机和变速器研制、生产基地，也是国内较早一家同时拥有发动机、自动变速器和手动变速器的汽车动力总成制造技术的企业。

目前，公司有15条装试线和16条机械加工线，承担4G1、4G9两大系列发动机和自动变速器（4AT/5AT）及F5M41系列手动变速器的装配试车及缸体、缸盖、曲轴等发动机主要零部件的制造，具备年产4G1发动机55万台、4G9发动机15万台（合计发动机70万台）、自动变速器15万台、手动变速器50万台的生产能力。
