雪云棉机有限公司创建于1976年，1998年8月改制成为由临猗县供销合作联社控股的股份制企业。现有干部职工380余人，工程技术人员30余人，公司占地面积30000平方米，总资2000余万元。公司下设金工、电焊、板金、铸造、装配等五大车间，主要从事研究制造棉花加工机械，产品有三大系列12个品种。产品销售3000余万元，上交税费300万元。

随着改革步伐的深入，针对农村剩余劳动力富足、农民农产品加工机械缺乏等情况，公司自主研制开发了雪云牌“6MT和6MH系列的棉花深加工机械产品。其中：A、“6MT系列吸尘弹花机”，主要对去籽的棉花进行梳理清弹，清弹后的絮棉可手动或自动形成棉被棉褥形状。是广大农村弹棉花做棉被的选择机具。B、“6 MH系列废棉气流回收机，主要是将轧花厂轧棉花过程中排出的不孕籽等废棉下脚料进行回收提净，回收提净后的棉纤维重新用于气流纺纱，使之变废为宝。
