湖南雁能森源电力设备有限公司创建于2004年9月，是湖南长高高压开关集团股份公司（股票代码002452）的全资子公司。长高集团是我国研制和生产特高压电器的骨干企业，主要生产1100kV及以下隔离开关、220kV及以下GIS组合电器等产品。

公司注册资本5000万元，占地面积3万平方米，其中建筑面积1.8万平方米。公司已通过ISO9001、ISO14001、GB/T28001质量、环境、职业健康安全三个体系认证，并持续、有效运行。先后引进了松下焊接机器人、数控钣金“冲、剪、弯”三大件、数控母线加工设备、数控复合屏蔽母线挤抱设备等加工设备；日本氦气检漏仪、高压全屏蔽局放试验室、真空度测试仪、镀银测厚仪、6000A大电流发生器等检测设备，共计135台套。现有员工165人，其中拥有工程、经济、会计等专业技术人员58人，是湖南省中压开关设备制造的标杆企业。
