中煤张家口煤矿机械有限责任公司是我国规模较大、发展较早的集研发、设计、制造、销售、服务于一体的煤矿井工成套输送设备制造企业。公司始建于1926年，前身为冯玉祥将军造币厂和傅作义的兵工厂。解放后，成为我国三大采煤机械定点生产企业之一；1959年，更名为张家口煤矿机械厂；2000年改制并更名为张家口煤矿机械有限公司；2003年，整体并入中煤集团公司，成为中煤集团公司煤机装备板块主要生产企业；2006年，中煤集团公司上市，张煤机公司随之更名为中煤张家口煤矿机械有限责任公司。

2013年，公司从张家口市中心城区整体搬迁至煤机装备产业园。目前，公司拥有以国家认可测试实验室、国家认定技术中心、博士后科研工作站、煤机行业国家能源采掘装备研发实验中心为核心的科研开发平台，生产和实验设备5900多台套，煤矿井工输送设备年生产能力17万吨。

公司目前下设19个职能部室，1个控股子公司，3个参股公司，3个分公司、2个子公司，3个集体企业，煤机服务公司（金桥宾馆和医院）。公司拥有完善的生产系统，下设机电设备分厂、传动分厂、中部槽分厂、结构件分厂、铸造分公司、锻造分公司、总装分厂、下料分厂、涂装分厂、产品维修分厂、动力分厂等16个分厂及事业部。

2017年末公司在职职工3301人，其中工人技师2368人，工程技术人员452人，管理人员424。工人技师中，技师以上职业资格411人，占17.35%，高级工683人，占28.84%，形成了以高级工为主体，以技师、高级技师为带头人的操作技能人才格局。工程技术人员中，中级以上职业资格277人，占61.28%，专职开发设计人员223人，占49.34%。管理人员中，具有高级专业技术职称人员82人，中级专业技术职称人员120人，初级职称96人。博士4人，硕士132人，本科714人，专科586人，本科以上学历人员占在职职工总人数的25.74%，专科以上学历人员占在职职工总人数的43.5%，建立了高学历职工人员队伍。

China Coal Zhangjiakou Coal Mine Machinery Co., Ltd. is a large-scale and early developed coal mine complete set transportation equipment manufacturing enterprise integrating research and development, design, manufacturing, sales and service. The company was founded in 1926, formerly known as general Feng Yuxiang mint and Fu Zuoyi's arsenal. After liberation, it became one of the three designated coal mining machinery manufacturing enterprises in China; in 1959, it was renamed Zhangjiakou coal mining machinery factory; in 2000, it was restructured and renamed Zhangjiakou Coal Mining Machinery Co., Ltd.; in 2003, it was integrated into China Coal Group Company as a whole and became the main production enterprise of coal machinery and equipment section of China Coal Group Company; in 2006, China coal group company went public and zhangmei machinery company was renamed accordingly China Coal Zhangjiakou Coal Mine Machinery Co., Ltd. In 2013, the company moved to the coal machinery equipment industrial park from the central city of Zhangjiakou.
