远东铝质工程公司创办于1969年，于1977年注册成为远东铝质工程有限公司。自创立以来，一直不断茁壮成长，由一家小型铝质门窗工场开始扩展至今日为一家跨国企业集团；于1991年透过集团新重组，由当时成立的控股公司远东铝质（集团）有限公司在香港联合交易所成功上市。

中国航空技术进出口总公司于1999年5月成功收购远东铝质（集团）有限公司之控股权益并成为主要控股股东。同年8月，远东铝质（集团）有限公司改名为中国航空技术国际控股有限公司。

于2007年底，由LotusChinaFundII,L.P.及StarflashInvestmentLimited共同拥有之ShowmostGroupLimited成功全面收购FEAHoldingsLimited。FEA为控股公司并拥有玻璃幕外墙及包层工程项目等主要营业业务之公司。

FEA于2008年4月7日更改其中文名称为远东集团有限公司。

远东集团有限公司于2009年12月更改其中文名称为远东环球集团有限公司。

业务发展

早在八十年代起，本集团已开始承接香港商业大厦的玻璃幕墙工程，并成功引进美国玻璃幕墙的先进设计及安装技术，运用于各类型的玻璃幕墙工程中，取得良好效果。1986年，本集团完成当时全上海首项高级商厦-中国上海联谊大厦之玻璃幕墙工程。

由于本集团在玻璃幕墙采用先进设计及安装技术并获得卓越佳绩，本集团在业界内备受业主、建筑师及相关建设部门的推崇。

从2004年起本集团积极拓展海外市场，成功赢得多个地标工程项目包括杜拜塔；澳门威尼斯人酒店；美国拉斯韦加斯Cosmopolitan渡假酒店及赌场；美国拉斯韦加斯CityCenter东方文华及VeerTowers；加拿大多伦多TrumpInternational及香格里拉以及智利圣地亚哥Costanera中心等等。

随着业务的蓬勃发展，本集团不断进行重组及业务扩充，除了远东铝质工程有限公司在承办香港的工程外，还先后成立了力进工程（远铝）澳门有限公司负责参与澳门特区工程项目；恒辉国际有限公司负责投资及经营深圳新和恒辉生产加工中心；以及设立于上海、北京、深圳的代表办事处协调联络国内工程业务。除此以外，本集团亦于世界各地设立办事处，包括新加坡、杜拜、拉斯韦加斯、纽约、多伦多及圣地亚哥(智利)。

FEA is a holding company with major business activities such as glass curtain exterior wall and cladding projects. FEA changed its Chinese name to Far East Group Co., Ltd. on April 7, 2008. Far East Group Co., Ltd. changed its Chinese name to Far East Global Group Co., Ltd. in December 2009. As early as the 1980s, the group has begun to undertake the glass curtain wall project of Hong Kong commercial building, and has successfully introduced the advanced design and installation technology of American glass curtain wall, which has been applied in various types of glass curtain wall projects and achieved good results. In 1986, the group completed the first glass curtain wall project of Lianyi building in Shanghai, China. As the group adopts advanced design and installation technology in glass curtain wall and obtains excellent performance, the group is highly praised by owners, architects and relevant construction departments in the industry. Since 2004, the group has actively expanded its overseas market and successfully won many landmark projects, including dubita, Venetian Hotel in Macau, cosmopolitan Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, USA, Oriental Mandarin and veertowers in Las Vegas City Center, Trump International in Toronto, Shangri La in Canada, costanera center in Santiago, Chile, etc. With the vigorous development of business, the Group continues to restructure and expand its business. In addition to undertaking projects in Hong Kong, Far East Aluminum Engineering Co., Ltd. has also set up Lijin Engineering (far aluminum) Macau Co., Ltd. to participate in projects in Macao SAR; Henghui International Co., Ltd. to invest in and operate Shenzhen new and Henghui production and processing center; and it has also set up in Shanghai Representative offices in Beijing and Shenzhen coordinate and contact domestic engineering business.
