公司采用的是代表当今世界水平的大容量熔体直纺一步法工艺技术，主设备从德国Neumag公司和Barmag公司进口，从事超细纤维，异形纤维和复合纤维等科技含量高的差别化涤纶纤维产品研发、生产、销售。主要产品有聚酯切片、超细旦差别化涤纶短纤和POY、FDY及DTY涤纶长丝，高强度涤纶阻燃纤维、涤纶色丝等。

公司在建项目总规模为年产120万吨的差别化涤纶化学纤维生产线。

一期工程投资约23亿元人民币，工程分两阶段进行，第一阶段完成年产20万吨聚酯直纺涤纶短纤生产装置、化学纤维研发中心、公用工程（包括原料输送管道、原料罐区、110KV变电站，综合动力及给水站、污水处理站和锅炉房）、办公楼、专家楼、员工宿舍等的建设，已于2013年7月投产运行；第二阶段完成年产20万吨熔体直纺涤纶长丝生产装置建设，计划于2017年投产。

二期工程将完成年产40万吨以熔体直纺高强度涤纶阻燃纤维、涤纶色丝为核心产品的生产装置建设，计划于2018年投产。

三期工程将根据市场实际情况和公司的战略进行合理的产业布局，配合集团公司下游企业协调发展。

项目自建设开始就高度注重科技应用、环保和节能减排，各项建设手续完备。项目全部投产后，年总产值预计可达人民币200亿元以上，将新增就业机会5000个以上；项目的建成投产将带动项目所在地化工原料、纺织机械、包装、港口、现代物流、服务业等相关产业的发展，有助于提升福清市元洪投资区的综合影响力。
