陕西华星电子集团有限公司的前身是建于1958年的国营华星无线电器材厂，是我国第二个五年计划期间，自行设计和建设的国家重点项目，1965年竣工投产，为我国三大元器件生产基地之一。2010年10月组建陕西华星电子集团有限公司，华星集团位于咸阳市渭城区文汇东路16号，占地面积34.2万m2，其中生产区18.1万m2，生活区16.1万m2。目前在职员工1600余人，各类专业技术人员约550人。

华星集团下设8个全资子单位，5个控股公司，3个参股公司，1个省级工程技术研究中心，1个省级企业技术中心，1个市级工程技术中心，1个新型电子功能材料与元器件科技企业孵化器,1个后勤服务中心。
