南京电气（集团）有限责任公司是我国电器工业第一家高压电瓷厂，始建于1936年，是白云电气集团在华东地区的总部。公司拥有机械工业玻璃绝缘子工程技术研究中心、江苏省高压绝缘子工程技术研究中心、国家实验室（检测中心）三大中心。

The company has three centers, i.e. glass insulator engineering technology research center of mechanical industry, Jiangsu high voltage insulator engineering technology research center and National Laboratory (Testing Center). In order to speed up the industrial development and meet the needs of power construction, especially the construction of UHV projects and smart grid, more than 500 mu of land has been purchased in the national economic and Technological Development Zone and Nanjing Electric Science and Technology Industrial Park has been built. At present, the first phase of the park covers a total construction area of 190000 square meters and has been completed and put into operation in 2015. The park is equipped with equipment and facilities at home and abroad; Nanjing electric testing center is a national laboratory with CNAs qualification certificate, with complete equipment configuration for the test project, which can carry out mechanical, thermal, power frequency, corona, steep wave and ion migration and other electrical and mechanical tests, and meet the AC, DC and impulse over-voltage tests of products from 110kV to 1100kV. With the implementation of one country's "one belt, one road" strategy, the construction of UHV projects and the increase of investment in distribution network, the company is dedicated to building professional insulators, high-voltage electrical appliances and related products R & D and production bases, making new and greater contributions to the national power construction and economic development.
