河南通宇新源动力有限公司位于新老312国道交叉口，交通便利。是由原通宇集团下属子公司通宇重工和通宇专用车两个公司整合而成的新公司。

下辖重工车间始建于2007年，是通宇集团与中国西安重型机械设计研究院的友好合作项目，旨在依托西重院的研发、品牌、技术、人才优势和通宇集团的资金、市场优势，通过双方的共同努力，把通宇重工打造成为冶金机械装备制造业基地，在国内钢铁行业中将通宇品牌做强，提升到一个新的高度。

公司设备齐全，检测手段完善，技术力量雄厚，是国内钢铁企业炉前、炉顶、连铸线、轧机等重型冶金机械设备专业生产基地。公司拥有大型数控落地镗T6920、1.6*6米重型卧式车床、6*3米数控铣床、6.3米数控立车、深孔钻、CK6140D、堆焊机、油压机、德国进口的光谱分析仪、拉力试验机、GX51金相显微镜等大小设备共计180余台。

我公司与中国重型机械研究院西安重型机械研究所合作，先后引进了辊径表面淬火技术；高硬度、高耐磨喷涂技术；连铸辊全自动埋焊、摆焊技术等等。

为促进公司更好的发展，经过多方考察，公司进军新能源产业。2010年，河南通宇集团于与武汉理工大学共同投资2.8亿元组建河南通宇新源动力有限公司，从事新能源汽车动力系统（总成）的研发与生产。在武汉设立研发中心，在西峡建设生产基地。

经过七年的努力，研发的新能源汽车动力系统已进入产业化生产阶段。河南通宇新源动力公司于2014年9月获得了国家传统专用车生产资质。在已批量生产的基础上，以新能源汽车动力系统为技术依托的新能源汽车产业化项目已展开。项目预算总投资6.73亿元，主要建设内容包括：（1）年产3000台新能源物流车；（2）年产2000台新能源城巿市政环卫类用车；（3）年产3万台新能源低速电动汽车。（4）年产2万台（套）新能源低速电动汽车配件。新建厂房，投入模具，新上冲压、电泳、焊接、总装等自动化生产线和检测线。项目建成后，年可实现销售收入26.6亿元，并可建成国内较大的新能源微型电动汽车整车和零部件产业基地，新能源汽车动力系统总成生产配套基地，形成较为完整的新能源汽车产业链。

It aims to build Tongyu heavy industry into a manufacturing base of metallurgical machinery and equipment through the joint efforts of both parties, relying on the R & D, brand, technology and talent advantages of Xiyu group and the capital and market advantages of Tongyu group To strengthen the brand and upgrade to a new height. The company has complete equipment, perfect detection means and strong technical force. It is a professional production base of heavy metallurgical machinery and equipment in front of furnace, top of furnace, continuous casting line, rolling mill and so on in domestic iron and steel enterprises. The company has more than 180 large-scale CNC Floor Boring t6920, 1.6 * 6 m heavy horizontal lathe, 6 * 3 m CNC milling machine, 6.3 m CNC vertical lathe, deep hole drill, ck6140d, stack welding machine, hydraulic press, spectrum analyzer, tensile testing machine, gx51 metallographic microscope and other equipment imported from Germany. Our company cooperates with Xi'an Heavy Machinery Research Institute of China Heavy Machinery Research Institute, and has successively introduced roll diameter surface quenching technology, high hardness, high wear-resistant spraying technology, continuous casting roll full-automatic submerged welding, swing welding technology, etc. In order to promote the better development of the company, the company has entered into the new energy industry through various investigations. In 2010, Henan Tongyu group and Wuhan University of technology jointly invested 280 million yuan to establish Henan Tongyu Xinyuan Power Co., Ltd. to engage in the research, development and production of new energy vehicle power system (assembly). Set up R & D center in Wuhan and build production base in Xixia. After seven years of efforts, the new energy vehicle power system has entered the stage of industrial production. Henan Tongyu Xinyuan Power Co., Ltd. obtained the national traditional special vehicle production qualification in September 2014. On the basis of mass production, the industrialization project of new energy vehicles based on new energy vehicle power system technology has been launched.
