益阳康益机械发展有限公司，成立于2006年5月，其前身是国家大型二档企业----湖南益阳齿轮股份有限公司。公司是轻型汽车变速箱生产基地之一、东风汽车集团成员单位、中国企业联合会、中国企业家协会的企业团体会员。

公司经营范围：齿轮、通用机械、五金的制造、加工、销售；投资管理下设分公司。汽车（不含小轿车）的销售。公司现有员工500余人，年产值1.53亿元。

公司拥有包括从瑞士、德国、俄罗斯等国进口的高、精、尖设备500多台（套），可以加工直径50-2000mm、模数0.5-20mm的各类齿轮，加工精度可达国际标准5级。公司已通过ISO9001、ISO14001、OHSAS18001体系认证，2004年获得高新技术企业认定。2013年7月被认定为湖南省级企业技术中心。

目前公司已形成年产电力和内燃机车齿轮50000台（套）的能力，并与中国南车株洲电力机车有限公司、中国北车集团大同电力机车有限责任公司、中国北车太原轨道交通装备有限责任公司等大型企业集团配套。公司生产的韶山1型、韶山3型、韶山4型、韶山6型、韶山7型、韶山8型、韶山9型等机车齿轮随主机跑遍大江南北，出口北美、西亚及东南亚。公司轻型汽车变速箱年生产能力为50000台。目前公司主要与东风汽车集团、江淮汽车集团、一汽红塔、重庆长安等大型企业配套，并在全国设置销售服务网络，“益隆”牌变速箱在中国轻卡市场享有盛誉。
