英国人AndrewStow于1989年9月15日在一个他喜爱的小村落：路环半岛，开设了这家谦卑的安德鲁饼店。当地人当时没有吃面包的习惯，不过他们迅速地爱上他的欧式产品。

安德鲁蛋挞的产生令需求蔓延至各地。安德鲁饼店的特许经营店于1997年在香港开设。这是亚洲首间蛋挞专门店引来蛇形般长的人龙，等候尝试这款天降的美食。模仿安德鲁蛋挞的店在香港及台湾等地涌现。安德鲁继而于1998年9月引入了台湾的特许经营店。另外，1999年4月安德鲁蛋挞进驻日本大阪市场。同年12月，安德鲁饼店继续引入它具标志的产品到菲律宾。除此之外,2006年1月安德鲁于香港铜锣湾怡东酒店,再次推出他标志性的产品，而90年代后期香港的“蛋挞热潮”亦被这家安德鲁的专门店–EXpresso所取代。
