British Andrew stow opened the humble Andrew bakery in his favorite village, Luhuan Peninsula, on September 15, 1989. The locals didn't have the habit of eating bread at that time, but they quickly fell in love with his European products. During a trip to Portugal in the late 1980s, Andrew got to know the local tarts (a kind of egg tarts originated in Lisbon Belem in 1837). Andrew also wanted to make Portuguese egg tarts for his customers, but he didn't have a recipe. His medical background made him no stranger to experimental work, so Andrew created his own version. He omitted some traditional methods and ingredients, and introduced the British style. Andrew thus created his own unique formula, from then on people know "Portuguese egg tart" was introduced to Asia. Journalists and the media began to introduce Andrew and his bakery, which has become one of Macao's tourist attractions. Andrew's egg tarts spread demand everywhere. Andrew's bakery franchise opened in Hong Kong in 1997. This is the first egg tarts special store in Asia to attract a snake like dragon, waiting to try this delicious food. Stores imitating Andrew's egg tarts have sprung up in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Andrew then introduced franchise stores in Taiwan in September 1998. In addition, Andrew egg tarts entered the Osaka market in April 1999. In December of the same year, Andrew bakery continued to introduce its iconic products to the Philippines. In addition, in January 2006, Andrew again launched his iconic products at the Yidong hotel in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, and the "egg tarts craze" in Hong Kong in the late 1990s was replaced by this Andrew's special store, Expresso. Unfortunately, Andrew died of an asthma attack on October 25, 2006. His daughter Audrey and his sister Eileen are proud to continue to carry forward his standards of excellence. In the future, Andrew's bakery will continue his spirit and attentive service. I hope you can still enjoy the company's British products many years later.
