北京市自来水集团现有二级子、分公司39家，职工8400多人，企业资产240余亿元。集团目前拥有市区水厂13座、调蓄水厂1座、郊区新城水厂14座，日供水总能力450万立方米。管网总长度12000余公里，供水服务面积1100多平方公里，供水用户460余万户。其中，市区日供水能力370万立方米，管网长度9000余公里，供水用户360余万户，供水服务面积730多平方公里。市区供水范围东至通州西部，南至大兴区西红门、旧宫和丰台东高地，西至石景山区鲁谷，北至天通苑。初步形成了以北京城区供水为主，涵盖郊区新城的城乡供水一体化格局。
