学校现设31个学院，学科涵盖哲、经、法、文、理、工、农、管、教、艺等10大学科门类，有98个本科专业，36个一级学科硕士点，211个二级学科硕士点，8个一级学科博士点，60个二级学科博士点和10个博士后科研流动站。

学校现有在职在编教职工3699人，具有正高级专业技术职务617人，副高级专业技术职务1088人，有专业技术二级岗位人员76人(包括延长退休16人)，终身教授5人。目前学校有各类在校学生8万余人，其中全日制普通本科生26001人，全日制普通硕士、博士研究生7735人，在站博士后研究人员123人，来自55个国家和地区的留学生及港澳台生1679人，各类在职教育学生42849人。

学校大力加强办学基础设施建设，经过多年发展，教学科研装备条件得到很大改善。校园占地面积4700多亩，校舍总建筑面积160多万平方米。教学科研设备总值15.29亿元，拥有各类藏书755万册(含学院资料室)，其中纸质图书378万册，电子图书377万册。全文电子期刊3.5万种，各类大型中外文数据库85种，数字图书馆建设具有一定规模，已形成纸质文献和电子文献并重的文献信息保障体系，有效支撑我校学科建设与人才培养。
