运时通(中国)成立于1973年,从2个人的弹簧床工厂,扩增到今日1000人的家具製造大厂,由单一床垫产品跨足全家具系列,由台湾内销拓展到欧美国际市场,不断的整合集团资源,发挥整体优势,提昇公司竞争力,让运时通一步步走向国际世界的舞台。

1983年取得美国蕾丝床垫(Restonic)亚太地区设计研发及行销总代理,1988年更取得德国美得丽床垫(Musterring)的授权合作,同时签订长达20年的授权合约,成为两大品牌在亚太地区合作伙伴;1996年设立中国东莞家具厂,积极抢攻大陆市场。1997年正式成立运时通(中国)家具有限公司,同年于五股工业区成立运时通家饰生活馆,占地1600坪,代理欧洲数十种家具精品,为台湾複合式家具卖场。

2000年以来,运时通除深耕原有的品牌及市场行销外,为求「速度-品质效率、深度-细部到位、广度-多面整合」三度空间的发展,以因应全球化趋势脉动,不仅积极于2002年底完成厂房的兴建,并陆续引进国外自动化机器设备,以拓展四大产品线—床垫、大床、沙发、家具,以成为亚太地区优良的全系列家具制造商为目标。运时通以企业价值链(value chain)、产业供应链(supply chain)及价值系统(value system)等观念,加强服务和行销方式销售产品,并将家具业上下游厂商整合在一起,达到产业群聚的效应,发挥的力量也更大,进一步跨业合作,除了家具业之外,也与纺织业、皮革业等相关行业跨业合作,创新产品的价值。

2004年为了配合国际化市场布局及全家具系列产品的完备,运时通将英文公司名更改为STYLUTION Int’l Corp.(原名RESTONIC Far East Corp.),此次的CI改造是以STYLE+SOLUTION两个英文单字的创意结合而成,STYLE强调掌握流行趋势,能以不断的地研发设计与管理,改善风格款式,建构创新能力;SOLUTION强调不断地分析问题、改善问题,以提升品质并创造绩效,来满足客户对整体问题的解决能力。STYLUTION创意结合强烈说明运时通「以客为尊,满意服务Customer Orientation, Satisfied Service.」的经营理念,充分掌握产品趋势,不断创新求变,追求诚信(Trusting)、超越(Outperforming)的TOP精神。
