2000年,公司开始实施以“稳定发展豆奶,全面进军乳业”为主要内容的二次创业战略。几年来,维维利用品牌、技术与资金优势,做行业整合与规模扩张,先后在山东济南、潍坊、济宁,陕西西安,湖北武汉、三峡,广东珠海,新疆南疆、北疆,宁夏银川,江苏徐州、无锡、连云港等地组建了十多个乳品加工基地及奶牛养殖基地,成功开发出高品位“天山雪”系列乳品。为了推动奶源基地建设,加快基地周边地区农民饲养的奶牛种群改良速度,维维引进万头澳洲良种奶牛,建成多个千头养殖场,一个万头养牛场。呈现了良好的发展势头。

2006年,维维股份受让江苏双沟酒业股份有限公司38.27%,成为双沟酒业第一大股东;2008年,维维茗酒坊成立,致力打造酒业连锁渠道;2009年,维维股份以51%的股份控股枝江酒业;2009年,维维全资白酒品牌维维川王酒问世。到2010年,从资本到实业、从基酒基地到渠道建设、从产品到品牌,维维全产业链酒业布局基本形成。
