净邦净水器是东莞市净邦净水科技有限公司全资拥有的自主品牌。东莞市净邦净水科技有限公司成立于1998年,主要专注于研发、制造家用净水器、智能家居、清洗设备、空气净化器,生产等各类环保配件,其中净邦净水器是水质处理设备公司,是国内大规模原始设备制造商之一。

唐代陆羽的《茶经·四之器》漉水囊,简称过滤器。

宋代明矾治水,明代晚期净水池系统,水处理净化工程,中国古代在处理工艺上已经具备当时很高的技术水平,也反映了当时的民众具有超前的环保意识和良好的卫生习惯。

然而近代历史中,中国净水器居然是国外进来的,引入大上海一个PP+活性炭台上式净水器。与净邦的净水桶有着相似的净水理念:石头+PP+炭

净水器出现的那一年,在中国饿殍遍野的境况,只有富人才能够使用净水器。因此由于国情的不允许,净水器的发展不断滞后,直到改革开放以来,伴随外贸的繁华,中国经济在沿海一带尤其是南下地区变得富裕了,净水器厂家在这些地域处于萌芽状态。

净邦在1997年香港回归的那一年,还没有诞生这个品牌名称,前身是引入净水筒内的配置改装成为中空纤维超滤膜配置,并在1998年,净水环境小组研发了不锈钢超滤机,过滤精度由原来的5微米晋级到0.01微米。

1998-2002年,净水环境小组的核心工作是研发和为工厂提供净水器耗材的设计以及生产。
