苍南县创新机动车驾驶员培训学校创办于2004年。校址紧邻104国道观美段，横阳支江畔，地理位置优异，环境宜人。驾校占地面积27305M2。场地训练面积22000余平方米，办公场所480M2，休息活动室近200M2。现有教职工63人，其中教练员53名（技师职称6人，高级驾驶员6人），理论教员1名，获得省、市级优秀教练员称号各1名，县级“岗位技术能手”3人，校级优秀教练员15人。

驾校拥有各类教练车48辆，其中手动挡46辆，自动挡2辆，配有5台上海红外驾驶模拟器供学员模拟驾驶操作。场地设施设备齐全：倒车入库位18个、侧方停车位10个、曲线行驶3个、上坡定点停车与起步两座6道、直角转弯4道、掉头等均按国家标准设置。
