APW(艾佩达)电子通信设备有限公司成立于美国，总部设在威斯康星州，于纽约股票市场上市。APW在北美洲、南美洲、欧洲和亚洲等地设有4个设计制造中心和近20个生产基地。1998年APW收购英国VERO公司，同年成为全球通讯机柜领域供应商。

2000年，APW进入中国，成立了APW艾佩达电子通信设备（上海）有限公司。2002年， APW搬迁至上海市普陀区桃浦开发区未来岛高新产业园至今。厂区面积近2万平方米，生产能力覆盖金属配件加工、柜体制造成型、模块集成装配、系统总装成型等一系列制造等级，成为APW集团在亚洲地区的全资子公司及全球四大设计和制造中心之一。

APW has 4 design and manufacturing centers and nearly 20 production bases in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. In 1998, APW acquired British Vero company and became a global communication cabinet supplier in the same year. In 2000, APW entered China and established APW EPEC (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. In 2002, APW moved to future Island high tech Industrial Park, Taopu Development Zone, Putuo District, Shanghai. With an area of nearly 20000 square meters, the plant has a production capacity covering a series of manufacturing levels, such as metal parts processing, cabinet manufacturing and forming, module integrated assembly, system general assembly and forming, and has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of APW group in Asia and one of the four global design and manufacturing centers.
