2005年，辽宁思凯开始推出物联网民用燃气表、水表和工业表，实现了民用及工业燃气表、水表的抄收。2011年进一步扩大物联网的服务内容，实现了多家银行实时储蓄燃气费、水费、语音短信催缴通知，收费交费等业务，为燃气公司、自来水公司和用户提供燃气、水、暖气从计量、抄收到收费的一体化技术方案。
到目前为止，产品形成以北京、上海为核心向周边城市辐射的市场格局，在国内100多个城市得到应用于推广，主要包括北京、上海、天津、吉林、江苏、浙江、黑龙江、辽宁、河北、山西等地。
