公司创建于1980年，是西南地区较大的薄璧钢管生产企业。公司资产1.3亿元，占地面积50000多平方米。在重庆下设办事处。现有五条焊管生产线、六条冷轧钢带生产线、二十八条冷轧精密钢管生产线、四条冷拔精密钢管生产线。年产高精密度焊管和冷轧钢带各约2万吨；冷轧、冷拔精密钢管8000余吨。产品广泛使用在摩托车、汽车、锅炉、变压器、磁电机、机械结构、家俱、装饰等领域，特别是汽车和摩托车用钢管，在同行业中享有极高声誉。

公司是较早生产摩托车用焊管的企业，为我国摩托车行业的发展作出了重大贡献。我公司生产的“蓥山”牌钢管通过用户加工后，使用在嘉陵、嘉陵本田、建设、建设雅马哈、株洲雅马哈、洛阳北方、力帆、隆鑫、宗申等摩托车上。

近几年开发生产的液压和气动缸筒用精密内径钢管，坯管既采用无缝管，又采用焊管，是较早采用焊管管坯生产冷轧、冷拔精密钢管的企业。产品通过用户加工后已使用在奥迪、红旗、捷达、富康、标致、马自达、五菱、长安、奇瑞等汽车上，部分产品已替代德国进口。近期开发的三角形、柠檬形、梅花形等精密异型钢管，经加工后出口欧美，受到国内外专家的好评。
