2011年12月,公司一期工程建成投产,现有资产3.5亿元,拥有以黍米为原料的传统型生产线一条,以“张杂谷”小米为原料的现代型生产线一条,以及糟烧固态发酵蒸馏生产线一条,具备生产黄酒能力5万吨。公司生产的黄酒有黍米酒、小米酒、莜麦酒、原生态水果酒(采用当地特产为原料,如石片黄杏、北辛堡桃、草庙苹果、南辛堡海棠、山楂、怀来葡萄等)及代替食用油的小米精髓液等;按含糖量分为甜型、半甜型、干型、半干型;包装设计分为古代、近代、现代三种风格;按产品储藏方式分为洞藏、窖藏、室内、室外储存等。

公司针对“张杂谷+北宗黄酒”进行了新产品研发,将低附加值的谷子,综合解剖:如,小米浸泡的米水发酵后用于生产体能饮料;谷糠用于提炼精油;糟和谷糠提取精油后的糟糠混合,可以加工制作粗纤维食品,黄酒代替食用油炒菜及做主食,黄酒制作成祭祀、饮用、药用及小米啤酒等一系列产品。在研发过程中所用的科研人员经费、设备及新产品市场宣传推广费用2000多万元。
