新疆塔里木河种业股份有限公司（简称塔河种业）成立于2002年12月30日，起始注册资本6500万元，至2015年增资后注册资本为1亿元，现由新农开发、隆平高科、塔农开发、巴楚种子公司四家股东单位组成。是全疆跨地区、跨师局，集农作物种子育、繁、推、加、销为一体的国有控股种业公司。

公司主要产品以棉花种子（包括长绒棉、陆地棉、彩色棉、杂交棉）、水稻、小麦、苗木花卉等种子，农副产品深加工和种衣剂等农业高科技产品为主，以及辅助于农业技术服务、科技培训、科技成果示范、展示、进出口等方面的业务。目前公司拥有自主知识产权品种26个，良种扩繁生产土地种植面积达四万余亩。公司始终坚持良种良法一齐推的科技服务理念，赢得了南疆广大植棉区用户的信任。
