2008年，国际慈善家及前美国国家职业篮球联赛(NBA) 球星姚明在有“世界酒谷”称号的美国加州纳帕谷成立了他的葡萄酒公司 “姚家族葡萄酒公司”（Yao Family Wines），2011年公司推出以“姚明”(Yao Ming®)品牌命名的葡萄酒。
公司目前旗下共有3款产品，分别为“姚明－纳帕谷赤霞珠”，“纳帕勋章”，以及“金峰”洛迪干红葡萄酒。公司希望通过这些不同风格，不同定位的高品质葡萄酒为中国消费者提提供更多的优质加州葡萄酒的选择。
In 2008, international philanthropist and former NBA star Yao Ming established his wine company "Yao family wines" in Napa Valley, California, USA, which has the title of "world wine Valley". In 2011, the company launched a wine named after "Yao Ming". At present, the company has three products, namely, "Yao Ming Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon", "Napa Medal", and "Golden Peak" Lodi dry red wine. The company hopes to provide Chinese consumers with more choice of high-quality California wine through these different styles and different positioning of high-quality wine.
