宝成工业股份有限公司成立于1969年9月,初期主要从事塑料鞋之生产制造及出口,尔后开始专注于运动鞋及休闲鞋之研发制造,并于近年积极发展运动用品通路业务。发展至今,宝成工业已转型为产业控股公司的方式运作,藉由旗下转投资公司专注于制鞋及通路二大核心业务之经营。

1978年起,宝成工业进入运动鞋制造之领域;其后,随着产品质量的精进、生产制程的整合、以及研发设计能力的增强,宝成工业由经营初期的纯代工制造(OEM)转型为代工设计制造(ODM)。为能分散生产基地及善用海外地区较低廉之生产环境,宝成工业透过转投资之裕元工业(集团)有限公司于1980年代后期陆续前往中国、印度尼西亚及越南等地设厂,而为进一步提高制鞋本业之效率,以及显现垂直整合之效益,宝成工业于2002年11月将旗下67家鞋材厂转售予裕元工业,使制鞋业务得统筹由裕元工业负责营运。现时,宝成工业及其子公司为全球较大的运动鞋及休闲鞋制造商,鞋类年产量超过3亿双。

在通路业务方面,宝成国际集团自1992年起由品牌代理业务开端,后来逐步发展运动用品零售业务,经过多年来的拓展扩张,在大中华区已建立起一定规模的销售网络。而为集中发展核心业务,提高集团的市场价值,于2008年将零售及品牌代理业务独立分拆,由裕元工业转投资之宝胜国际(控股)有限公司 (下称「宝胜国际」) 专注经营发展。

此外,宝成国际集团原基于产业风险分散之考虑,于1999年跨足电子下游产业,藉由转投资之精成科技股份有限公司从事印刷电路板(PCB)与印刷电路板组装(PCBA)的生产制造。惟在2008年金融海啸发生后,集团重新检视经营策略方向,并推动旗下转投资事业资源整合,于2010年3月顺利完成精成科技40%的股权拍卖。

展望未来,宝成国际集团将持续聚焦于制鞋与通路二大营运主轴;在制鞋业务方面,不断精进生产技术及研发能力,持续优化生产效能,与各国际品牌紧密配合,以提供优质的产品及服务。通路业务方面,则将继续提供高水平的客户服务、产品组合、市场推广及宣传活动,以建立通路名称为「胜道」(YYSports)之品牌形象。以期在制鞋业务及通路业务均能透过专业分工,强化核心竞争力,创造集团价值。

At present, Baocheng industry and its subsidiaries are the world's largest manufacturers of sports shoes and leisure shoes, with an annual output of more than 300 million pairs of shoes. In terms of channel business, Baocheng international group started from the brand agency business in 1992, and then gradually developed the retail business of sporting goods. After years of expansion, it has established a certain scale of sales network in Greater China. In order to focus on the development of core business and improve the market value of the group, the retail and brand agency business was separated in 2008, and Baosheng International (holding) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Baosheng international") invested by Yuyuan industry focused on the operation and development. In addition, based on the consideration of industrial risk dispersion, Baocheng international group stepped into the electronic downstream industry in 1999 and engaged in the production and manufacturing of printed circuit board (PCB) and printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) by the reinvested Jingcheng Technology Co., Ltd.
