The company is located in Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, which is 123 kilometers away from Chengdu. There are chengdu-ya'an Expressway and national highway 318 directly to the city, so the traffic is very convenient. In 1965, according to the construction plan of the third line of the central government, part of Chongqing construction plant was moved to the relocation plant of Ya'an. In 1992, the name was changed to Sichuan Jian'an machinery factory. In 1998, the company was restructured as a whole and changed its name from Sichuan Jian'an machinery factory to Sichuan Jian'an Industrial Co., Ltd. China Southern Industry Group re established the company through asset restructuring of the affiliated automobile and parts enterprises. The main assets (except land and real estate) and overall business of Sichuan Jian'an Industry Co., Ltd. entered the company. In August 2006, it was established as "Sichuan Jian'an automobile bridge branch of China Southern Automobile Co., Ltd.". In March 2010, it was changed to "Sichuan Jian'an vehicle bridge branch of China Chang'an Automobile Group Co., Ltd.". In April 2015, with the approval of China Southern industry group, Sichuan Jian'an Industry Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Jian'an automobile bridge branch of China Chang'an Automobile Group Co., Ltd. were integrated into a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Chang'an Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (Sichuan Jian'an Industry Co., Ltd.).
