永旺中国

永旺的由来

永旺(AEON)在拉丁语中表示“永远”的意思。1970年,在冈田屋、Futagi、Shiro3家地方企业合作的基础上,诞生了“JUSCO株式会社”。当时向所有职工征集新公司名称,“JapanUnitedStoresCompany、略称JUSCO”当选。由此,“JUSCO”被定为公司名称。2001年8月21日,“JUSCO株式会社”改名为“永旺株式会社”。2008年8月21日永旺以“永旺株式会社”为核心,转型为纯控股公司体制,通过部分或全额持有国内外经营连锁超市及购物中心公司的股份,管理支持集团企业的经营事业活动,从而提高整个集团的企业价值。

历史沿革

永旺的历史可以追溯到250年前。1758年,冈田右卫门在日本三重县四日市创办了“冈田屋”,贩卖棉花、布料、化妆品等日用百货,其销售方式类似于“货郎”——用扁担挑着货品沿街叫卖。

1968年5月,冈田屋与总部位于兵库县姬路市的二木公司合并。在发表合并消息的媒体会上,冈田卓也和二木表示欢迎其他同行加入。随后,位于大阪的西罗连锁超市也决定加入。1969年2月,三家公司组成的新公司——佳世客(JUSCO,“日本联合商店公司”的英文缩写)诞生了。其后在香港设立了分公司,音译为吉之岛;1997年于广州市合资组建的广东吉之岛天贸百货有限公司开业,下设天河城广场店和中华广场店。

2008年12月16日三菱商事宣布入股永旺已发行股票的4.59%,成为了后者最大的股东。今后,三菱商事还将继续增持永旺股票,使持股比例达到5.05%共斥资约368亿日元3.25亿美元

2000年收购八佰伴,2003年合并Mycal(大型超市Saty、Vivre百货等),2005年接手经营不善的日本家乐福,2006年再与丸红联手支援破产重整中的大荣百货。2007年合并子公司DiamondCity,2010年2月25日出售女装零售企业Talbots的所有股份,退出美国市场。

In the future, Mitsubishi will continue to increase its stake in AEON, with a shareholding ratio of 5.05% and a total investment of 36.8 billion yen and 325 million US dollars. In 2000, it acquired eight hundred partners. In 2003, it merged Mycal (large supermarket saty, vivre department store, etc.), in 2005, it took over the mismanagement of Carrefour in Japan, and in 2006, it joined hands with Marubeni to support Darong department store in bankruptcy and reorganization. In 2007, Diamond City, a consolidated subsidiary, sold all shares of Talbots, a women's clothing retailer, on February 25, 2010, leaving the U.S. market.
