久负盛名的云梦鱼面源于道光十五年（公元1835年）。

解放前，云梦鱼面的生产一直停留在一家一户的小作坊生产阶段。1956年社会主义改造过程中，将云梦鱼面生产较出名的几家鱼面作坊联合起来，走上了公私合营的道路。2001年由于企业改制，原单位一直从事楚河鱼面生产销售、经营管理工作人员重新组建成立了云梦县楚河鱼面厂，继续传承云梦鱼面的传统生产工艺，续展“楚河”牌鱼面注册商标，编号为3342944，申报“楚河”牌云梦鱼面外观专利，专利号为200530026624。

2004年楚河鱼面厂更新生产设备，制作封闭式无菌生产车间，开发生产出不需浸泡，开袋可炒的楚河牌炒面王鱼面。改变了原来鱼面好吃特难炒的状况，从而改写了云梦鱼面食法历史。因产品营养、快捷、方便深受消费者喜爱。2008年在云梦县技术监督局支持下，由楚河鱼面厂发起牵头，联合几家规模较大鱼面厂成立“云梦县梦云鱼面开发中心”，将所有鱼面厂原产品标准废除，发布实施了“湖北省地方标准”，产品标准号DB42/T465--2008。同年并取得工业产品生产许可证，编号QS420901030057。

楚河鱼面厂目前产品有两大类十多个品种，2010年元月又推出“1835”珍品系列，主要是以高品质礼品装鱼面为主。

云梦楚河鱼面行销深圳、武汉、襄樊等地，孝感地区各大超市、卖场均专柜有销售。

In 2008, with the support of Yunmeng County Technical Supervision Bureau, Chuhe fish noodle factory initiated and led the establishment of "Yunmeng County Mengyun fish noodle development center" with several large-scale fish noodle factories, which abolished the original product standards of all fish noodle factories and issued and implemented "Hubei local standards", product standard No. db42 / t465-2008. In the same year, it obtained the industrial product production license, No. qs420901030057. At present, there are more than ten varieties of products in two categories in Chuhe fish noodle factory.
