南陵县红宝种业有限公司成立于2007年3月，现注册资金3000万元。公司于2010年12月落户于弋江镇工业集中区，占地10499平方米。建有办公楼1400平方米，仓库2060平方米，晒场4500平方米，拥有 5ST10.0型大型种子精选成套设备1套，种子烘干机10台（套）等。

公司2011年4月取得了农作物种子生产、经营许可证。主要生产经营优质水稻及其它农作物良种；兼营农药、化肥等农业生产资料。与全国部分经营种子的大型企业保持紧密的合作关系，并在本县及周边县市拥有100多家经销网点，赢得了客户和农民的信赖。公司于2010年开始流转土地2600亩，至2012年新增流转达11700亩，目前达15360亩。主要分布在本镇新陶、东河、紫溪、蒲东、塘南、柿坝、等六个行政村。公司对流转的土地，安排75个种植大户进行联产耕种，由公司提供种子、农药、化肥等农业生产资料，由公司按计划布局栽培品种和安排茬口，实行病虫草害统防统治。公司主要生产常规稻种、绿肥种子（紫云英），公司自主“南弋”牌种子每年在全国的销售量已达300万公斤以上，“南弋”牌水稻种子在2013、2014年县农委水稻高产创建项目招标中连续两年中标，种子销往江西、湖南、福建、上海、广东等地。

公司现有25人，其中员工19名，具有高级职称的专业技术人员6名。
