温州银行前身—温州市商业银行成立于1998年12月17日，由29家城市信用社、6家金融服务社和8家营业处整合而成。成立初始，注册资本2.9亿元，通过6次增资扩股和股本结构优化，注册资本增至25.08亿元。2007年温州银行顺利更名并启动跨区域经营，相继在上海、杭州、宁波等8地（含筹建金华分行）设立异地分行，温州辖内设有2家分行，现辖属149家营业网点（含总行营业部），员工2800余人，逐步形成“立足温州、布局浙江、进军长三角”的跨区域经营发展服务格局。
