中科视拓，创始团队来自山世光研究员和陈熙霖研究员共同领导的中科院计算所智能信息处理实验室视觉信息处理与学习研究组（简称VIPL研究组）。VIPL研究组的前身可以追溯到上个世纪90年代中国工程院高文院士在哈尔滨工业大学计算机学院建立的视觉实验室。

中科视拓（北京）科技有限公司于2016年8月在北京成立，核心创始人包括山世光研究员和他的博士生刘昕。2016年9月，中科视拓获得由线性资本领投，紫牛基金、明势资本等跟投的千万人民币级别天使投资。2016年12月，公司整体迁入银谷办公区。2017年4月，由中科视拓控股的系统集成公司——杭州火视科技有限公司，在杭州滨江区成立。2017年8月，中科视拓获得由安赐资本领投的Pre-A轮数千万人民币投资。

In September 2016, China Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. obtained angel investment of RMB 10 million level led by linear capital, followed by Ziniu fund, Mingshi capital, etc. In December 2016, the company moved into Yingu office area as a whole. In April 2017, Hangzhou Huoshi Technology Co., Ltd., a system integration company controlled by Sinotech, was established in Binjiang District, Hangzhou. In August 2017, Sinotech obtained tens of millions of RMB investment in pre-A rounds led by anci capital. China Science and Technology Corporation has set up a system integration team in Hangzhou. Relying on the core technology of face recognition of China Science and Technology Corporation, it has provided many software and hardware integrated face recognition solutions for customers. Through offline SDK, cloud service and integrated software products, face recognition technology of Sinotech provides multi-level technical services for integrators, industry users and end users. China Science and Technology Corporation has set up a system integration team in Hangzhou.
