2006年，欧意德发动机有限公司从意大利VM公司引进了达到欧Ⅳ排放标准的清洁型柴油发动机技术，并结合我国国情和相关的产品使用要求进行了新的设计，使发动机技术的先进性、可靠性和适用性广等诸多优点，并可以随时提升至欧Ⅴ排放标准。

2007年，欧意德发动机有限公司从德国ZF公司引进了4/6速自动变速器技术。该技术手自一体，具有智能化、节能环保、换挡平顺、选择模式多样、广泛适应多种车型和各种路面状况等优点。

2008年，欧意德发动机有限公司完成了厂房基础设施建设及设备的引进。

2009年，欧意德发动机有限公司已形成年产 30 万台清洁型柴油发动机和 45 万台自动变速器的制造能力。

2010年1月30日，欧意德轿车柴油发动机及自动变速器下线仪式在内蒙访古鄂尔多斯汽车工业园隆重举行，至此，欧意德清洁型柴油发动机及自动变速器正式今日量产阶段。

公司拥有10条自动化程度高，技术专业的发动机和变速箱生产线，形成年产30万台清洁柴油发动机、45万台自动变速箱制造能力。平均每46秒产出一台发动机和变速箱。

全公司共投资100多亿元，共有各类设备1200台套。另外，公司拥有40多个SPC质量控制点，终检检测设备，性能和可靠性台架、冷试和热试台架，试漏检测和扭矩检测及计量设备等各类检测设备，对发动机制造过程中的2000多个质量参数进行实时监测并自动完成质量数据分析。
