大佛龙井产于中国名茶之乡---浙江省新昌县,主要分布于海拔400米以上的高山茶区。产品选用高山无公害良种茶园的幼嫩芽叶,经摊放、杀青、摊凉、辉干、分筛整形等工艺精制而成。其外形扁平光滑、尖削挺直,色泽绿翠匀润,香气嫩香持久、略带兰花香,滋味鲜爽甘醇,汤色黄绿明亮叶底细嫩成朵、嫩绿明亮,具有典型的高山茶风味。

新昌县主要名茶品种,为我国名茶三珍,1995年荣获中国科技精品博览会唯一的金奖。该茶选择县境高山无公害良种幼嫩芽叶精细加工而成。农业部茶叶质量监督检验测试中心在“茶叶感官审评报告”中称“新昌大佛龙井茶”,经检验外形扁平光滑,挺直尖削,形似碗钉,色泽嫩绿鲜润,滋味鲜醇甘爽,汤色杏绿明亮,叶底细嫩成朵匀齐,品质优良,属浙江龙井茶中的极品。

大佛龙井茶生长于唐朝诗仙李白曾经为之梦游的浙江新昌境内环境秀丽的高山云雾之中,采用西湖龙井茶优良茶种嫩芽精制而成,品质超凡,嫩香持久沁人,具有典型的高山风味。属国家原产地域保护产品,2002年获国家商标局“大佛”证明商标注册。为浙江省名牌产品和中国国际农博会名牌产品,在国内外茶文化节上多次荣获金奖。

大佛龙井的炒制过程中,运用了抓、抖、搭、捺、甩、推、扣、压、磨等“十大手法”,形成了“形美、色翠、香郁、味甘”品质四绝的龙井茶。品尝高级龙井茶,常用玻璃杯冲泡,水温85度,展开后龙井茶形似朵朵兰花,翠绿芬芳,清香扑鼻,滋味鲜醇,品饮时齿颊留芳,沁人肺腑。清代茶人陆次之曾赞曰:“龙井茶,真者甘香而不洌,啜之淡然,似乎无味,饮过之后,觉有一种太和之气,弥沦于齿颊之间,此无味之味,乃至味也。”
