“冰峰汽水”饮料诞生于1953年。冰峰汽水的生产商为西安市食品厂，冰峰是该厂的其中一个生产车间，厂里人称为“汽水车间”。2006年，西安市食品厂与西安市另外4家食品厂合并成为西安市糖酒集团有限公司。原“汽水车间”继续生产冰峰汽水。
