In 1952, the former Changde distillery, the predecessor of Wuling liquor company, was built in the old distillery where cuipo liquor was brewed. In 1972, engineers of Wuling liquor independently innovated and developed a unique style of elegant Maotai flavor Wuling liquor on the basis of learning the brewing technology of traditional Maotai flavor liquor. Hunan Wuling Liquor Co., Ltd. is located in the beautiful Changde mountain. The total construction area of the factory is 46000 ㎡, with more than 600 employees and more than 80 professional technicians. After more than half a century of development, it has become a large-scale liquor production enterprise integrating product seriation, packaging seriation and production standardization, and has established a multi brand strategic development plan of "one body and two wings". Its products mainly include Maotai flavor Wuling wine - Wuling Shangjiang, Wuling Zhongjiang, Wuling Shaojiang, strong flavor Wuling Dongting spring color series, and fragrant Wuling Furong national color series, covering Maotai flavor, Luzhou flavor and Jianxiang. In September 2010, the company invested nearly 1 billion yuan to acquire 1000 mu of land in Changde national economic and Technological Development Zone, build a new base of 10000 tons of sauce wine, and build a professional ecological industrial park. In 2010, Wuling liquor entered Shanghai World Expo on behalf of Hunan liquor. The rapid development of Wuling liquor attracted great attention of the capital market. In September 2012, Lenovo holdings realized the wholly-owned merger and acquisition of Wuling liquor. Under the strong support of resources and mature culture, Wuling liquor is showing new vitality.
