新厂区坐落于汇川区新兴食品工业园区——董公寺镇。建于2008年,5月试生产,6月开业投产。同年8月获“QS”证书,2009年4月,获中国质量认证中心《HACCP-EC-01(ISO/DIS22000)食品安全管理体系》及《ISO9001:2000质量管理》认证证书。成为名城遵义同行业的领头鹰,其产品销往省内外,是遵义主要旅游产品之一。一步步沉稳的步伐,一行深深的足印,记录了多少创业者的艰辛。
“老谢氏”鸡蛋糕起源于清末民初,四川南溪县糕点技师谢松师傅,技艺超群,其子谢九成十五岁随父学艺,子承父业,其技艺更“青出于蓝而胜于蓝”。一九三五年,遵义最大糕点房“裕泰恒”之老板温汉章,专程去南溪聘来九成师傅主持糕点制作,从此谢氏祖傅工艺落户于遵义。九成师傅根据祖传工艺,结合遵义地方特点,将鸡蛋的蛋白蛋黄分别处理,用白碳烤制,制出了蛋糕之上品,但产量低,供不应求,于是独创“拗锅”技艺,即“双面火烤”并调整配方,为蛋糕制作创立了新的里程碑。九成师傅晚年将祖传技艺传授予后人至今。

一九五八年和一九六五年,邓小平两次来遵义视察,在遵义宾馆所品尝的蛋糕就是九成师傅所制作。曾对遵义的领导同志讲:“你们就把你们的豆花面,鸡蛋糕,羊肉粉搞起来,作为地方名小吃,搞出你们小吃的特色来。(根据遵义文史小平同志在遵义)如今的“老谢氏”鸡蛋糕,是宾馆接待各级领导同志的接待佳品。

二00三年“老谢氏”鸡蛋糕在南京路正式生产,当时为一小作坊,随着产品的供不应求,小作坊不断扩大,于二00四年迁至高桥镇高泥村。二00八年六月又迁至董公寺镇交通村新厂房,现已拥有资产100万元。管理干部10人,员工50人。两条现代化生产线。
