巢湖市金盾机动车驾驶员培训学校有限公司（简称金盾驾校）成立于1993年，其前身是公安部门的驾训中心，是经省市交通部门批准、工商部门注册成立的我市较早的机动车驾驶员培训学校之一。位于市长江东路2号，毗邻市博物馆，占地33亩，学校各类配套设施设备齐全，现有教练车70余台，教职员工40余人，规范化的科目二训练桩位20套，建有教学楼及学员食堂2栋（1800平方米）。
